During my internship at Make-A-Wish Turkey, I designed a set of New Year e-cards around elves, the ones quietly doing all the work behind the scenes so the season can happen for everyone else. Rather than three separate scenes, I built the designs as one small story unfolding across them, elves getting everything ready for the New Year, together. Make-A-Wish Türkiye now uses these illustrations for their New Year e-cards, which people send to donate in someone's name, a small, warm way to give toward a child's wish while thinking of someone you love. It's one of my favorite kinds of project: a tiny, self-contained world that still gets to do something real."
